Author Articles Scroller (AAS)

Experimental. I've been playing around with an article site I've realized that Joomla doesn't offer some necessary tools. The ability to have your Author's articles show up, once logged in; is a feature I find hard to live without. So, I've taken some time to write this simple module. Hope you like it.

Author Articles Scroller works when users log into your site. If the current logged user has contributed articles to your site, then AAS will display those articles in a scrollable box [ thanks to Dynamic Drive ], and with an associated Edit and View link. This offers fast access to all of the User's articles, but doesn't take up a lot of real estate.

 AAS Features

• Scroll options. AAS will display articles in static manner, but allow you Up/Down scroll capability when there are too many articles to fit the area allotted.
• Height and width control. With the aide of [ AA_Width ] and [ AA_Height ] parameters you will be able to adjust the box area from 100x100 - 225x225 pixels.
• Title Character Amount Control. The [ AA_Cutoff ] parameters limits the article titles from 10 - 30 characters. 
• Sort on Four DB Columns. By using the [ AA_SortColumn ] parameter AAS can sort on four columns [title, hits, created and modified] from the content db, allowing for a good deal of display flexibility. Also, with the [ AA_SortMethod ] parameters you can additionally adjust the displayed output on oldest/largest or newest/smallest.
